- Employees will accrue leave every paycheck according to the length of employment. Unused leave can be carried over from year to year up to a cap of 3 weeks (120 hours). After December 31st of each calendar year any unused leave over this cap will be lost. We encourage employees to use their leave rather than lose it so that they may reap the benefit of their hard work.
- When requesting leave employees will submit a leave request form to their supervisor. Leave should be submitted well in advance to have the best possible chance to secure the desired days off. Company management will work to accommodate desired leave time within reason. Employee’s may be required to select alternate leave dates depending on factors including sufficient advance notice, ensuring teams are staffed at functional levels, project considerations, etc.
- 3 days per year
- Unused leave can be carried over from year to year. There is no cap on the amount of sick leave that can be carried over.
- Subsidized health insurance plan. Capitol Flexi-Pave, LLC will pay half of the employee’s health insurance premium, and the employee share will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck. Important health insurance information including plan details, rates, and open enrollment dates will be supplied in a separate employee handout.
- We want to invest in your career. To that end Capitol Flexi-Pave, LLC will reimburse employees 100% of the tuition costs for continuing vocational or professional education, night classes, seminars, etc., up to a cap of $1000 per year. For every year you are employed with Capitol Flexi-Pave, LLC we will increase the amount of tuition assistance available to you by $500 per year up to a limit of $2500.
- Proposed classes/seminars must be submitted to Capitol Flexi-Pave management in advance of registration and approved in order to receive reimbursement. Reimbursement is dependent on the employee securing advance approval, completing the course, and receiving a passing grade.
- The employee will be required to remain employed with Capitol Flexi-Pave, LLC for one year following the end of the class/seminar or be required to pay back the tuition cost.
- All work crew members will receive five company work shirts every six months. In addition, each crew member will receive all necessary personal protective equipment including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, etc.
- We want you to feel a part of the Capitol Flexi-Pave family, so we will occasionally get together for team meals, celebrations, and company outings. These outings will be focused on having fun together, building camaraderie, and strengthening relationships within the team.

Flexi-Pave is a unique product that requires a specific set of skills to successfully install. Those skills are borrowed from other industries such as concrete, masonry, asphalt, landscaping, carpentry, etc., and we recruit from all of those trades. We hire for specific roles on either a site prep crew, a paving crew or sales & management. Read on to see which of the following positions you may qualify:

There are also different skill levels within the each position. Our goal is to provide a career path in which you are recognized as your skills grow. A change in skill level can be awarded at an annual review or at the manager’s discretion, and each stage comes with an increase in pay.
SKILL LADDER (available for all positions)
While some the previously mentioned positions are available at certain times during the year, we are always seeking Experienced Finishers. Successful candidades must have extensive concrete experience in forming, screeding, bull floating, edging and finishing. Skid steer / bobcat experience is also preferred and the ability to drive a medium duty commercial truck and trailer. Our product is worked and finished in a similar manner to concrete using the same tools. So the learning curve is short with a concrete background.
In addition to fringe benefits like paid holidays, paid sick days and paid vacation we also offer a generous wage which is commensurate with experience. Candidates with high moral integrity and leadership skills will be considered for a Foreman position leading a crew of 4-6 men. Therefore these applicants must have valid drivers license to operate company trucks. Foreman will be provided with company truck during the work day but all candidates must have personal transportation to our Sterling headquarters each morning. Crews start at 6:00 AM to beat the heat and the traffic. Jobsites are located throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland. Overtime is a regular occurrence. We are in high demand and have steady work with many high profile commercial and municipal clients.
