In mid-September 2015 a 2,269 SF Flexi-Pave trail was installed at Key Elementary School. Chosen Flexi-Pave color is Mossy Slate.
From DC Department of General Services Site: “The proposed concept design includes a sports field, new track, integrated basketball/tennis courts, traditional and developmental play equipment. There will also be new spaces for theatrical performance, outdoor chalk art, and landscape features. Finally, new and enhanced natural areas allow students to learn about the environment in an outdoor science classroom, interactions with water systems, and a new nature walk / track around the perimeter of the school grounds.”
