In late July 2015, we installed a 2,944 SF Flexi-Pave trail at Woodstock Park. Chosen Flexi-Pave color for the trail is Coal Mine. This trail is part of their Playground Redesign and Basketball Court Renovation. A little background: Woodstock Park site reports: “A kickoff presentation outlining the design development phase of the park was held at the Waverly Hills Civic Association General Meeting (Glebe Elementary School Multipurpose Room) on June 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Funds were allocated to redesign the existing playground, as well as renovate the existing basketball court at Woodstock Park. Playground equipment, playground surfacing, pedestrian circulation (including ADA accessibility), site furnishings, and stormwater management are among the major project components and goals. A community design group was formed and two meetings were held on July 18, 2012 and Sept. 11, 2012. A conceptual design was developed with input from the design group and a final conceptual design was presented and approved at the Waverly Hills Civic Association General Meeting (Glebe Elementary School Multipurpose Room) on Nov. 14, 2012.”
